FOUR PICTURES OF CHRIST

I Corinthians 11:23-26

Jesus asked us to "remember me". As we remember Him today, I want you to look at four pictures of Christ that tell the entire story of His suffering, death, resurrection, and His sovereignty.

I - THE DYING CHRIST - I Cor. 11:24-25
A- The SUBJECT is - "In remembrance of Me"
B- The SCENE is - "Christ and the Sinner" - He judges sin.
C- The SACRIFICE is - The LAMB OF GOD

II - THE LIVING CHRIST - Revelation 1:12 -20
A- The SUBJECT is - "I am He who lives and was dead" - vs. 18
B- The SCENE is - Christ and His Church - He judges His Church.
C- The SAVIOR - He is the LORD of His Church

III - THE WORTHY CHRIST - Revelation 5:5-14
A- The SUBJECT is "You are worthy to open the seals -vs.9 "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain." - vs. 12
B- The SCENE is -CHRIST and CREATION - He judges His CREATION
C- The SOVEREIGN is -THE LION OF JUDAH - Rev. 5:5

IV - THE REIGNING CHRIST - Revelation 19:11-16
A- The SUBJECT is - "He has a name written--KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS." VS. 16
B- The SCENE is - CHRIST AND THE NATIONS - He He will judge the NATIONS
C- The SUPREME ONE is - LORD OF ALL !!

"HE IS LORD, He is Lord, He is risen from the dead and He is Lord! Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord."
